Dolores “Dee” Davis 87 of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Flower Hospital, Sylvania, OH. Born November 22, 1928, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Frank and Concetta (Rongetti) Maggio. Dee retired as Executive Assistant for the University of Toledo, School of Pharmacy after 17 years. She also was a Title I teacher for Smith Rd. Elementary School in Temperance. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and gardening. Dee was also the “Community Coordinator” for Moongate North.
She is survived by her loving children; Frank Gregg Davis and Gwenn (Mike) Cannon; grandchildren, Justin (Nicole) Cannon, Tori (Dustin) and Frankie Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jordan Cannon; great grandchildren, Zayne and Ryder.
Visitation will be from 2-7 pm Thursday, March 17, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to American Breast Cancer Foundation. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
